Raw food night

Ty and Soupha's raw food night turned out awesome. Hopefully they'll post some pictures here so everyone can see what fun we had. I think Aaron and Julia are planning to have the next one at their house. I'll plan on having one at my new house after that.

Pizza


Here is a picture of the pizza I made for dinner tonight. I didn't really measure out any of the ingredients.

Crust:


Trader Joe's Almost Whole Wheat Crust.

Sauce:



  • 2 mangoes

  • soft tofu

  • onions

  • majoram

  • chili powder

  • salt

  • lime juice

  • Thai seasoning

  • cayanne pepper

  • a pinch of a few other spices.


Blend all ingredients in the blender

Toppings:



  • Beets

  • Zucchini

  • broccoli ("What the hell is broccoli anyway?")

  • Vegan mozzorella cheese

  • tomatoes

  • fake ground beef on half of it



I cooked it for 8 minutes at 450 degrees. It probably could have been cooked for a little longer, but I liked the slightly chewy texture. I had enough sauce for about 3 pizzas so we'll probably be having this again real soon.

I thought it turned out really good. I had never had beets on a pizza before. I thought they were very tasty on it. Click on Read more! for all the ingredients

vegan chocolate cream pie

12 oz bag of dark chocolate chips (melt in double boiler, stirring frequently)
2-12 oz boxes of Mori-Nu Silken Soft Tofu
Soy Milk (less than a cup…just enough to make tofu creamy)
Graham cracker pie shell

Blend Tofu & soy milk in blender. Add melted chocolate. Pour into pie shell. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.

Best thing you’ve ever tasted!!!!!!!!
